Hi!
A few days ago I asked here for a mambot to display thumbnails in a lightbox. Now I choosed the mambot Multithumb.
Multithumb works on my Website, only the option lightbox to display the pictures brings only a white window into the front. Other options like popup or greybox still work.
I found a Thread on other websites, they wrote, that this syntax must be in the template in the head section:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/mambots/content/multithumb/lightbox/js/prototype.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/mambots/content/multithumb/lightbox/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/mambots/content/multithumb/lightbox/js/lightbox.js”></script>
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/mambots/content/multithumb/lightbox/css/lightbox.css” type=”text/css” media=”screen” />
<script language=”JavaScript”src=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>/mambots/content/multithumb/multithumb.js”type=”text/javascript”></script>What do you think? Is this neccessary? Which file do I have to edit?
My website is: www amsterdamer-kroepfer de
Thanks for your help!

I think the lightbox-option of MultiThumb is conflicting with another JavaScript you use on your website.
When you want to try the solution you found, you have to edit the index.php file of your template.Kind Regards,

August 8, 2007 at 11:44 am #226630Hi Juergen,
I did see you use Expose-Gallery on your website. Do you know that Expose had a security-leak? When you downloaded Expose before 19th July, it may be not patched yet.
See: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,192172.0.html
Kind Regards,

thanks for your answers!
I will update Expose as soon as possible – thanks for notice!
I updated index.php a few minutes ago – it doesnt work 🙁
If multithumb conflicts with other javascript on my site, do i have a chance? (I ordered multithumb to be the first mambot in the rancing).
WHAT CAN I DO? THANK´s to YOU!

Use or the greybox-option or the popup-option. Or uninstall the component/module that it conflicts with. Or find an alternative for that.

PeterAugust 8, 2007 at 12:03 pm #226634OK, but how can I find out, which component/module conflicts with multithumb?
