Hi,

here IS my question :

1) it seems that there is something wrong with the JA bistro template I am unable to change the theme..the default is checked in red and when i check the theme i like i am then unable to see a change.

2) how do I change or get rid of the designs at the top of the web page??

Avrei bisogno di maggiori dettagli riguardo al tuo errore , potresti postare un link al tuo sito ?

Solitamente questi problemi si risolvono abilitando l’FTP Layer dall’interfaccia di amministrazione del tuo sito Joomla

1) come faccio per cambiare il logo JA BISTRO in alto a sinistra?? il mio sito dovrà gestire un piccolo bed & breakfast

2) Mi serve in frontend in italiano.. come faccio?? esiste??

3) per inserire il FAVICON.ico in quale directory la devo inserire??

Il logo è un’immagine png che è situata nella cartella /templates/ja_bistro/images/logo.png se stai usando il default template ed è gestito per le dimensioni da questo file /templates/ja_bistro/css/template.css alla riga 580 più o meno

h1.logo { width: 272px; height: 99px; margin: 20px 0 20px -60px}

h1.logo a {
background: url(../images/logo.png) no-repeat left;
display: block;
width: 272px;
height: 99px;
}

Se invece hai applicato un theme particolare allora devi controllare il file logo.png nel folder templatesja_bistrothemesyour themeimages

Devi installare il package della lingua italiana scaricandolo da qui

E’ un’immagine nella cartella images del theme ” left-banner.jpg” e gestita da questo file /templates/ja_bistro/themes/yourtheme/css/template.css

a.left-banner {
background-image: url("../images/left-banner.png");
}

Per le dimensioni devi far riferimento al file templates/ja_bistro/css/template.csstemplate.css riga 800 più o meno

a.left-banner {
background: url("../images/left-banner.png") no-repeat scroll left top transparent;

margin-right: 20px;
margin-top: -45px;

Hi Antoniocerasuolo,

In order to change text in Search module, go to back-end >> Extension >> Module Manager >> Click on Search Module >> In the right side, change text in Box Text as you wish.

Save then clear your cache.

Hi I took the top png file of the template off and now the top has lots of space can you please let me know how i can shorten that space?? how can i bring the rest of the page further up??

Hi,

You removed this image, right? http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_bistro/templates/ja_bistro/images/header-bg.png

In order to shorten that space, please go to this file
templates/ja_bistro/css/template.css

Find these lines:

#ja-header .main {
padding: 90px 0 0 60px;
}

Change to:

#ja-header .main {
padding: 0 0 0 60px;
}

Once done, save and clear cache.

heres what i want to do now on the JA BISTRO i want to get rid of the slideshow and just put a module with an article but keep the same background block-hilite2-bg.png

how can i keep this?? what do i have to do in the css file??

i think the best is to use the JA slideshow with just one picture but now the problem is how do i make the picture the whole width of the DIV?? can you help ??

To make the picture on the whole width, you can set hide to description and button, increase Main Item width, like this capture: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/749/0677096824.png

Go to this file:

Find these lines:
