March 18, 2014 at 5:10 pm #195907Hello,
I would like to change the Joomla! favicon to my own site favicon. I have been scanning through out public_html as well as ../templates. I am unable to find the original Joomla! favicon so that I can change it out.
Would you please direct me to the correct location.
Thanks.
Rob

March 21, 2014 at 2:39 pm #527653Well, I was mistaken. While I did find and replace a favicon, I did not find and replace the CORRECT favicon in JA Biz. Oddly, I can see my new favicon using Chrome, which display in the tab at the top of the browser. In all other browsers, the Joomla! favicon remains.
I’ve seen, from prior posts, that the favicon may formerly have been found in /plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/images/favicon.ico. My newest Joomla! version (2.15.19) no longer has ../jat3 file.
I’m going file-by-file, but not finding the favicon, other than in templates/images.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Rob

March 29, 2016 at 2:15 am #905964@nysfda and @realtoast: You can find the favicon icon directly from this path: templates/ja_biz/favicon.ico and you can change it to other icons
April 25, 2016 at 2:47 pm #922554I don’t see it there.

You can create new favicon.icon file and upload it to templates/ja_biz/ folder if you could not solve this problem on your site, you can send me the URL of your site. I will help you to check this

April 27, 2016 at 2:25 am #923219You can create favicon.ico file and upload it to New-NYSFDA/templates/ja_biz/ folder on your site.
April 27, 2016 at 12:55 pm #923467Is there a specific size the .ico file should be?
