I’ve gone through the posts, and am close to having my logo in place on the site. However, in changing the header.php from span2 to span3 in the logo section, it’s returned the search box down to the next line – which looks bad. Previously, it was to the right of the menu. Some help would be appreciated.

You should change span for your mainnav from span-8 to span-6
