    running from a local server so no links. Running Joomla v3 . Updated to newest version of JA Brisk yesterday, Now when i publish Sideshow lite with anything in the settings it blanks out my home page.

    What i have done so far:

    Changed the directory: /images/mainpage/slideshow from /images/sampledata/slideshow (which is not an exsisting directory)

    Ented the below code, my images are named sl-1.jpg sl-2.jpg and sl-2.jpg

    <blockquote>***

    <h2> words that are words, that work for this word place</h2>
    <p> Here are some more words to test this</p>
    <div>
    <a class=”btn btn-primary btn-large” href=”#” title=”Lots of words”> words words words</a.
    </div>
    ******</blockquote>

    This caused the screen to go blank (if i pull up the source code from the website it’s gone, no body tags no head tags, nothing), so i removed this code from the advanced config, i thought i had just typed something in wrong, saved it and same issue, removed the directory and now i have my Joomla home page back. What would cause Slideshow lite to do this if it links to anything, any tips or ideas would be helpful.

    Thanks!

    Hello nckltech,

    You code for slideshow lite is wrong. It missed “” closing tag and had some strange character (‘***’ character). Please re-check it.

    The astrick was to seperate the code from the rest of the text above and below it. they are not in the code. As for the adding the closing “” (without the “”) I’m still recieveing a blank page when the module is published, and pointing to a folder with images. I tried changing the name of the images in the folder to match what it says so i have one named sl1-bg and one named sl-1 which is how it is discribed in the how-to and still nothing. Any other ideas?

    Hello nckltech,

    Can you PM me with your site information (your site URL, your site admin account) and your FTP account? So I can diagnose this problem.

    BTW, please include this forum thread URL in your PM, so I can follow it.

    Regards.
