I’m having a website with Purity III as template. Now I see the wonderful possibilities of JA Builder but don’t like to build a new template copying Purity III.
Can I use JA Builder to further enhance my Purity III template?

    Hi,

JA Builder is compatible with T3 framework or other popular Joomla frameworks, pls check out the documentation of JA Builder for how to work with it: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-builder#integration

Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need further helps.

    Hi,

Having followed your instruction, now I’m questioning my next step. I want to add a slogan to the header of my Purity III template. Please advice.

    Hi,

There is option to add slogan text via Administrator > Extensions > Templates > Purity III template > Theme > Slogan

However, by default, it’s not displayed so you can open the header block file: ROOT/templates/purity_iii/tpls/blocks/header.php

Add this line of code to the place you want to show slogan:

    <span><?php echo $slogan ?></span>

    For example: http://prntscr.com/ebe8ac

Then, of course, you will need to add style for this slogan.

    Thanks for the reply.
I had the impression that JA Builder would offer me a wide toolset to adapt templates. The slogan was just an example.
    Am I right?

JA Builder already supports built-in content blocks so you can implement on your website with easy.

That was exactly my question: What is my next step. The thread was not clear to me. How to proceed after having installed JA Builder and added the css code.

I have one burning question, for which I can not find the answer in the guideline.
I have now installed 2 templates: JA_Builder and Purity III and the Component JA Builder.
All I want is to enhance my Purity III template with the goodies i read in te instruction of JA Builder (both in Header as in Content and Footer).
As I want to modify Purity III, I assume this is set as the "Default" template and I use the JA Builder Component to carry out the modifications in Purity III.
    Please comment.

    Hi,

As you can see in the documentation, you can integrate JA Builder with Purity III to create pages on your site. Let me know in details of how you want the page look like so I can give further suggestion.

Still curious to learn the answer on my burning question 🙂
    Here are the details.
I am webmaster of a historical society website http://www.oudvorden.nl
Now I want my testwebsite http://www.dedecanije.nl to have the same look. Therefore I installed Purity III and JA Builder. Differences are e.g.:
    Missing Slogan in the Header
    Heighth of the Header
    Footer

    Hi,

Not sure where is problem here as if you want to have the exact same look with your official site, you will have to customize style for header and footer. For the slogan, pls follow my above suggestion.

    Regards
