It seems that JA Builder is affecting the way URL are used by other modules on my site.
I have "deluxe news pro" module from Joomlaxtc.com which automatically link to articles. Everything was working find until I create a page connected with the menu items which display the article itself. The idea was to use JA builder to add elements to the page. Unfortunately, it replace the page completely which is fine for me, but once the page is published, the menu item is working correctly, but the links display from the module doesn’t redirect to page created anymore.
Is it possible to correct this? Thanks
Please, see site details for instruction on how to replicate the issue.

May 20, 2017 at 2:52 am #1035546Hi
The menu /services is not a single article menu. In Joomla, if you want to point the article on its own page you have to create a menu > with the menu type single article.
Kindly create menu and check.
Also, the link in the module are not generated from the Builder it’s from the same module, you can check the module with default Joomla template and result will be same.Regards
May 20, 2017 at 5:29 pm #1035631Hi, I wasn’t clear enough sorry. I am not using JA builder as default template.
The menu item "Services" is an alias from a single article menu items (from "Hidden Menu 1") I create to display the specific article.
Now everything was working as expected until I tried to create a page from that menu item (single article) hoping it would let me add content (blocks) to that articles page.Unfortunately, When I created the page from the single article menu item with JA builder, the article disappeared, and the links from the module was broken!
So I guess it is not possible to add blocks to an existing Joomla page if I use a third party template. Am I correct?
I put back everything as it was (without JA builder) and change the alias menu item to single article on the main menu. Everything is working as expected except that I cannot use JA builder to edit the pages I wanted.
Will you create a way to use JA builder in articles?
You are welcome to try it yourself. All I wanted was to edit (not remove) the "services" single article menu item from the with JA builder to add block under it.
Thank you.

May 22, 2017 at 1:16 am #1035795Hi
JA Builder is also a normal Joomla template and work same like other templates.
Can u check the issue again with JA Builder, I saw you are using a different template for the Homepage now.Regards
May 22, 2017 at 7:25 pm #1036093Hi,
Yes, I’m using a third party template, which come with already styled modules for Joomla articles.I wanted to add blocks to specific pages which are Single article menu item because to use the modules provided by the template they need to be link to Joomla articles.
Unfortunately, it seems that this isn’t possible because JA builder switch the "single article" menu item to a "JA builder" menu item. And so I’m losing the direct link to the articles.
So my question is, will JA builder become available as an article editor as well or not?
If it doesn’t then I know I should use another editor to work on websites base on a third party template. Not a big deal, I was just hoping to stick with one page builder and JA builder is my favorite 😉
Thank you.

May 23, 2017 at 2:00 am #1036140Hi
You can add custom blocks on the Article pages too.
Just edit the page using JA Builder and create new blocks
JA builder does not modify the Joomla articles as its core Joomla articles, not in the JA Builder.
JA Builder is not an editors its a cool tool that gives option to add new blocks and modify them as per needs 🙂Regards
May 23, 2017 at 9:51 pm #1036499Ok, I’m getting confuse now. Can you please answer the following question:
If I use a third party template, Is it possible to edit a joomla default "single article" menu item to add content block, on top or under the article itself (article already exist) ?
If yes, then it isn’t working on my site. A least not when using a third party template because when I use JA builder to manage the "single article" menu item, the menu item switch to a "JA builder" menu item, and the existing article disappear.
Thank you.

May 24, 2017 at 3:38 am #1036549Hi,
So I looked again to the documentation, and yes it is possible to use JA builder with joomla article when selecting JA builder as template in menu item, but it doesn’t say if it is possible to do the same thing using a third party template.
So I guess it is just not possible to add content block above or below articles when using third party template. Right?Just have a couple more questions:
- Is it possible to use "JA comment" within any page created with JA builder (even if not associated with articles) ?
- Is there a plugin compatible with JA builder that make possible to use joomla user custom fields within JA builder? The idea is for example to create user URL custom fields, then create buttons with JA builder base on links added by a user to his account.
Thank you

May 24, 2017 at 3:58 am #1036553Hi
JA Comment is developed for the Joomla content If its article page you can use it on it.
Joomla custom fields also for the Joomla articles it’s not related to JA Builder.Regards
