I have created a page and saved it as "Home Page" using JA Builder module. Thereafter clicked on Live edit to insert blocks on the Home page where i have managed to insert the header.
I have also changed the Render module setting to Module, Main menu. My problem is, the Render module is not changing to Home during Edit mode. However, i can see Home on preview mode.
My second problem is that am trying to add another page and it won’t save. Instead the pop up dialog box shows a pink header.
Kindly assist me. Thank you

March 3, 2017 at 3:03 am #1014927Hi @tonniwest,
It’s confirmed to be an issue with the Render module, it’s reported to the team and will be fixed soon.
For the second prob, you can share the URL and admin login info of your site, I will check it for you.
Regards

March 3, 2017 at 2:33 pm #1015135Hey!
I love JA Bulder. It’s King! However, some little hitches here and there.
Pages cannot save on "Live Edit" mode. instead, i have decided to create menus manually on back end and added the menu items to the main menu. So i have just changed the Render module to Module, main menu and the Menus can appear on Published Mode.
So far, no problem with adding content on the menu pages. However, i don’t understand the grid that appears at the "Content" par in the Main page that should be a home page. I have added the header block well, footer well, the content slider well etc. However, there’s a grid at the "Content" that is split into two columns "Main content here" and "Modules: Sidebar" So how do i add content blocks in these grids? They wont allow me to add anything.
Thank you.

March 6, 2017 at 6:40 am #1015534I guess that page is a menu item type of Joomla content which will show the main content of your site + the sidebar where you can load position you wish.
For example, if that page is a Single Article page, the main content will show the content of selected article and the sidebar will show the position you desired.
