HI,

I have this issue with JA Bulletin & K2. Images used via the K2 image tab do not work in this module, i have inserted the image via jce directly in the articla and al is fine.

this presents a problem to me because then i have no control over the images from the global config in K2.

is this a bug? has it been fixed, or am i missing something.

As I see, after you have uploaded the image into K2 image tab you have to insert it in to Article content to make it show in JA Bulletin.

yes that is the case but by doing that K2 config becomes useless, because i need to control the images from k2.

With joomla content, JA Bulletin extracts the thumb image from article content, when you switch to K2 content it also use this method, I think JA Bulletin lacks an exclusive treatment for K2 because It was designed with Joomla content in mind.

so does this mean that this module is useless to me if i run my whole site on K2 if so this presents a big problem for me. i have seen a previous thread regarding this http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/bug-ja-bulletin-doesnt-use-the-k2-images/

in this thread it states there is a bug and its being fixed, but this was dated 29/12/2010

This bug has been fixed by thuanlq, try to update the module to get it work as you want.

thanks for getting back to me.

I have version 1.0.4 already installed (i was reporting with this one installed) and the version in the download section is version 1.0.2.

I am on joomla 1.5 so i dont know if this is the one updated.

Please advise..

ok have done that and it still doesnt pull the k2 images, you hae to have the images in the article directly not from the k2 image tab.
