I really like Ja-Business.But I do not like the brown. And I also like Ja-Ores. I wish the Ja-business has the same color options of Ja-Ores. Here are my questions.
1..Can the Ja-Ores template configured to look like Ja-business?
2. Is it possible for Ja-business to have the Ja-ores Lite orange scheme?
3. Do you offer custom coding service? If the answer to question 2 is yes. I would like to what to do to achieve it.

March 8, 2011 at 11:53 pm #380394It is possible and quite easy to adjust the colours in JA Business. It requires the editing of a few images and a bit of css but it would take a bit of time to achieve. You are probable best paying someone over at Joomlancers.com to do the work for you if you are not familiar with doing work such as this.

Well, it’s true that the color issue is well-known and lots of people dislike. And I disagree that “quite easy to adjust the colours in JA Business.” Besides the editing some of the images (before that you have to find out them with firebug), you also need to change lots of the location in css file where controlling the color of different part~
I am one of the customer to wait for the further white/light color theme of templates….. hopefully I can wait for it before my membership expired… JA seems do not agree their template color themes are all so dark or grey…. even lots of the customers here have the same opinion…. anyway, as Phill said that, if you don’t familar with image editing and css, then it’s a good step to pay someone for changing the color of JA Business template….. if you don’t mind to pay extra cost even as a JATC member already… the fact is, you don’t have any choice for a better clear color theme up to this moment!! >:(

March 9, 2011 at 8:16 am #380470JA do have plenty of light options available in other templates just not in JA Business. As far as I am aware there will bo no further colour options released fo JA Business. It is an excellent template with many options. Many like it, many like the layout and a few like the layour but want achange of colours. You cannot please all of the people all of the time.
However, It would take only about 2hrs work max to come up with a light colour scheme for and web developer with the minimum of css and photoshop skills.

March 9, 2011 at 8:43 am #380476You may right… but I can’t found such light options for other templates…. most likely they should be the template for news… and the KEY or MUST HAVE main color is black. I can only found few business websites they are using such dark theme… it’s always true that no one can do the works fitting for all of the people… but such dark theme is fit for “MOST” of the customers or as say fit for the business? Let the others vote for it. (At least, I really like the color theme of THIS website – joomlart.com including the color of the mega menu and the footer, but such “light options” you never can found in JA’s template collection. As I said before, JA seems don’t like to use their own template or I should say, why JA do not use their so-called “popular” dark/grey theme in template design? I don’t know.)
I have to say I really appreciate JA’s template design and idea, I just don’t like (just like other customers) the dark/grey color theme which could be seen in EVERY template. Also, I am NOT familar with photoshop and css, that’s why I need to join JATC rather than just modify the T3 v2 by myself. So, “2 hours work max” for a skilled technical guy may put me in a mess & frustrated environment for 2 weeks!
If the customers have other choice for different color scheme like blue, green, purple, orange, red, black, white… for dark and light series, there is no point the customer need “extra” cost to ask someone for a color scheme due to the lack of it from original template, and there is no point the customers would change to other template club.
March 9, 2011 at 11:14 pm #380609I think JA-BUSINESS is a great template. I want to use this template for my business. I just need JA to address ASAP the concerns of the lovers of this great template regarding the color scheme. Who are they designing for, themselves or us the members?.how they respond to these feedback will tell. I became a member just to acquire this template. I am good at following instructions, if I get detail instructions on how to make the changes I could do it.
What I would like to achieve is this: to adopt the JA ORES LITE ORANGE SCHEME. If someone reading this is knowledgeable to instruct me, I would appreciate it.
Listening to the feedback on this template, JA could release JA BUSINESS 2 as the next template. One approach JA could adopt going forward is to give a preview of its upcoming template. The ensuing feedback could guide them in its final development and release. Frankly, I do not believe its necessary to release a new template every month. JA has a portfolio of great templates. Getting feedback from its members they can improve on what they already have developed. It would be interesting to get their feedback on this.
JA has to understand that they are developing for us the members and not for themselves.
