Hi,
I use JA Business template as shown in demo. I customize the articles that are displayed at home page, article with a picture a squirrel or raccoon. I change the article title to mine, which is fine. The problem is I have to select Demo Category. If I create a new category and have my article selected it, the article is not showing up. So I have to select Demo Category, which is fine if that the way it works. I just want my article to show at the place just like the demo. But I want to remove the little pencil image next to the article title, remove the text that says POST: … BY .. IN: Demo Category. There are printer and email icons that I want to remove them as well. Where do I do that?

Hello,

First you can change the Category name to suit your needs and as for the article images you can change that also from Article Manager Options in Article Manager (you will find the show icons etc settings)

This is not helpful for me. The issue is that those icons and words are displayed at the home page, main content below the slideshow, that ism at the short description and it has read more button.. If I click read more of any feature article, the article is displayed OK.

Hi,
If i can understand correctly what you need (what’s shown in your image) you can hide this from “Article Manager” where you can define what you want to be shown and what you don’t, check the Articles section.

if you need some help on achieving this i can help you but i will need a Super Admin logon to access your joomla admin panel

Hi,
I did just that, turn off everything except show title at Article Manager for the article, but it still shows those icons. When clicking read more and the full article is displayed without those icons.
