Hi,
I want to insert a flash or a video in an article. I notice the media icon is not available. This icon is available in Joomla 1.5, but I do not see it in version 2.5. Does anybody know how to do it?

I never knew there was one available in Joomla 1.5. So I always used Jumi (search Joomla extensions for it) to insert flash or video in my articles. The whole package will be installed. Configuration through the component. You can use the module in case you want to display something in a module position. But in fact you only need the plugin to insert video of flash in your content.

It may a be template specific. My old site uses Joomla 1.5. The template I have been using is not from Joomlart. It is from Siteground. I go to edit any article, there is an icon, look just like a film. As a matter of fact, It looks just like the one in this reply editor. I will look into a plugin to see if it available.

Check Jumi; this allows you to insert any code into your articles. The link:

There is a version that is Joomla 2.5 compatible. There is a bug in that version; the absolute path that you can configure to the directory that contains the custom php-files to start the flash is not working but that is not a show-stopper.
