I am converting my site from Joomla 2.5x to 3.5.x (manually). My old site looks just like the demo. I have installed the new mod_jaslideshow.v2.7.5.zip to the new site. This version look different. I do not see the one that exactly like the demo. What do I need to do to have it look like the demo. I like the feature that each slide is associated with a topic with a readmore allowing user to click on if they want to learn more about the topic. The latest version seems to display pictures from a folder and there is not interaction.

Hi Pankaj,
I believe what you see is the live site which is in Joomla 2.5.x. My converted site is still at my localhost. I have explained my issues in the attachment file more detail with screen shots of both sites (old and new) along with admin screen for JA Slideshow module in 2.5.x and 3.5.x. I how it make it clearer to you.

In the newer version of the slideshow some changes to make it user-friendly , now you can add the image like in your screenshot , and then Click on EDIT text that u can see with images .

In the newer version you can also load the article in the module and give same style .

Let me know if there is any doubt , Also make site live on a test subdomain so i can make sample copy and u will see how it works if you are not able to understand it .

Thank you for helping. I have made it to work (but not exactly like the old version). I am OK with it.
I have made it live (www.cambodiancommunityday.org, from localhost, uploaded everything, applying db scripts, etc), everything seems to work fine. I have two issues:

1. I cannot make to the contact module to work, the one that has a button (title "Contact" at the top of the screen. When click on it, a contact screen appears. Click on again, it close it (just like JA Business demo). It just won’t appear on the hedear/banner of the site. Refer to the attached file ja_contact.jpg

2. When I go to administrator screen, extensions –>Modules. Locate JA_Slideshow module and click on it, I get this error as in the attached screen ja_slideshow_admin_error.jpg. What is that I am missing. I do not see #_k2_categories anywhere.

Can you help me point to solving the issue, please?

I made to work after experimenting a number of times with different setup.
The only problem is there is a white bar across the screen at button currently say "toppnel". Is there a way to get rid of that?

add below code at the end of template.css file to remove the bg color

Unfortunately, it is not free. I already paid $59 for membership. Don’t know why I cannot download it.

Beside this, the contact form does not work. In my test, after filling out the contact form and click on send button, nothing happen.

I also want to have captcha-recaptcha appears before send. No matter what I do, it did not work. Could you halp?
