December 6, 2009 at 10:08 pm #325847But what if you dont want to have a picture within an article and just text – does this work then?
Thanks
December 7, 2009 at 1:55 am #325854just to confirm, you don’t want the picture to appear in the “catslwi” module but you want to be part of your article when the user clicks one of the boxes, is that the case?
If that is the case then have your article start with the few sentences, then add read more function then add your picture somewhere after the read more. That way the image would not be picked up in the home page “catslwi” box.
for the “U” function see Phills comments above this page. He explains when “U” is need it in the helper.phphope this helps.

December 7, 2009 at 7:01 pm #325962It’s the other way around that I want – to have the picture shown in the “catslwi” module but not in the article – sorry for the confusion!

December 18, 2009 at 11:12 pm #326945Is there a way to link to a component instead of an article?
If I made a menu item of the component and recorded the url I could then disable the menu item and go to the same page via the url. I’d like my link from catslwi to take me there.
May 31, 2010 at 5:29 am #345327all I want is for an image to appear in the catslwi module.
Weather it’s the first image in the article or one I define I can’t seem to get any to work right now.
Can it use external images?

June 3, 2010 at 3:10 am #345758Dear jvalal!
You can use the external image on the module, but i recommend you should save this image and put it into your host and use in the article, because you ‘ll improve performance of the site
June 3, 2010 at 3:45 am #345768Yeah, still having some module issues.
element206.com on the right side. For whatever reason the image is just a sliver.

December 27, 2010 at 9:22 pm #368830Looking for more or less the same thing. I want to link one of the homepage articles to a category blog-layout instead of an article.
