Hello,

I’ve recently read good reviews for the JA Collapsed module and so I was going to use it.
So the installation went easy and the settings are simple. After configuring the module and enabling it, I tested it on the site.

But it didn’t work. The module was visible but the “Expand all” and “Collapse all” functions didn’t work at all. Also, I couldn’t collapse specific modules by clicking on them.
I heard this is an issue of JA Collapsed, that only happens if one uses Joomla 1.5. Well, I’m using Joomla 1.5, but in Legacy mode.
I found two topics about this in this forums, but they couldn’t help me (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/collapse-module-in-joomla-1-5/ and http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-collapsed-modules-2/).

I’m using “Joomla! 1.5.2 Production/Stable [ Woi ] 22-March-2008 22:00 GMT” in Legacy Mode. My template is a modified “BizBlue2” (I only modified the colors in CSS and the images), as you can see on http://www.meltyblood.de (Rules said I should say the URL, though I’m not getting an error message).

So, uhm. Here I am now and I have no idea why it doesn’t work. It would be a great thing, since the modules waste a lot of space and this would add very good useability to the site.

I am really suprised given the amount of issues site members are having with the collapsed menu which is shown to work very well on your demo templates that there is not more support for this module! Could you not explore the idea of adding a bit of extra info to the install guides or on your extensions section.

Even though I have purchased ja pollux it does not include the collapsed menu module even though it is present on you demo version. There must be many like me who spend hours trying to figure out why it does not work or where to locate the file. I have tried to install the one listed on your free extensions page, but found that it does not work in legacy or in native. If the module does not work in native mode, then it would be really helpful to let your members know about this too! And if there are issues with it working in legacy then info about this would be sucha time saver. Thanks for listening.
