October 29, 2012 at 9:10 am #471364Yes, JA Comment component is part of our JAEC (Extensions Club) >> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=50 and is not covered by JATC member who only can download template + complimentary extension built in. This is the list of complimentary extension built in for JA Teline IV: http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-teline-iv << You can see that JA Comment is not listed there.
If you want to own it, you need to buy our JAEC membership at http://www.joomlart.com/member/signup.php

January 15, 2013 at 7:10 am #479775I have the same question… but if the JA Comment is not included in Teline IV, why is reported how set it in User Guide?
In this way is licit think that this module is included in the standard distribution.

January 17, 2013 at 9:07 am #480139JA Comment is used in many templates and with each template, it has special html / css overrided and optimized settings. It has different settings in different templates so that we provide the user guide for JA Comment in respective templates ( including JA Teline IV) to clear the optimized settings which are used in the demo and the same are highlighted in the template userguide. However, JA Comment component is part of our JAEC (Extensions Club) >> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=50 and is not covered by JATC member who only can download template + complimentary extension built in.
The list of complimentary extensions included with each template is clearly mentioned on the product page: http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-teline-ivIf you want to own it, you need to buy our JAEC membership at http://www.joomlart.com/member/signup.php

Well, this is extrem misleading, that is is showen on the DEMO, and then it is not a part of, what can be downloaded. Even that it is not showen on the list of complimentary extension. I have been spendt more than an hour to find out, how to installe it, and then I see this. >:(
I will allmost call it to CHEAT your customers!!!!!
And I will when I get the time definitely make a comment of this on JED.

October 14, 2013 at 2:59 am #508856Dear Morten,
I am sorry for the misunderstanding here. It is true that all the extensions used in demo site are available complimentary to the members. However, we also style for 3rd party extensions (commercial) which we are not able to provide in the downloads such as K2, EasyBlog, … You can check the JA Teline IV release article for the list of complimentary extensions http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-teline-iv to see that JA Comment component is not part of it .
JA Comment component is part of our JAEC (Extensions Club) >> http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ and is not available to JATC member.
For your case, I can understand your reaction and the best thing i can do for you is to offer you complimentary copy of JA Comment Component for your site to make our clients be happy. However, future upgrades and support will not be available as that would need subscription of extension club. Pls confirm then i will attach via email to you!
You can test drive the JA Comment component and if you are satisfied, you can join the JAEC club in near future for upgrades (if available) and support (if you may need any). Being a JATC member you are entitled to $ 10 OFF on JAEC and you can buy JAEC at 40$ only.Once again, sorry for the misunderstanding, but we do mention the list of extensions included in the release article. May be next time you can check the list too.

October 14, 2013 at 10:14 am #508922Hi Saguaros,
Thank you for your reply.
I have found out that the JA Comments isn’t on the list for exetensions. But as a customer you don’t think about this, because it’s in the demo.
It would be alot more fair, If you on the site with the list of extensions that comes with a template, you allso write something like: Theese extension are used in the demo, but is not part of what you can download, and then make the liste just as visible as the list with extension that comes with the template.
Or even better make your demos like: WYSIWYG
Then there can be no misunderstandings. And yes, I would like you to sendt me the extension by email, that will be nice, and I will then think about joining the JAEC in the future.
Regards
Morten
