Hi there
I have the most current version of JA Comment installed – v2.5.3 in Joomla 3.2.3
When I go to the Joomla Extension Manager, it shows that I have the correct versions installed.
However, when I go into the backend controls for JA Comment and select Documentation and Support, it reports this:Documentation and Support
Your version: 1.0.7 Latest version: 2.5.3 New version available! Upgrade now.
Selecting Upgrade now just goes around in a loop.Is there a file that can be updated to correct this anomaly ?
I installed JA Comment way back in Joomla 1.6, and have continued with the module all the way through to Joomla 3.2.3
I can supply login details if required.
Regards

April 24, 2014 at 3:49 pm #532278Hi Derek,
If you did install a current JA Comment version but some admin pages display a wrong one, than to me it sounds like a cache issue.
To check if this is the case, please play with System -> Clear Cache -> Delete and System -> Purge Expired Cache -> Purge expired.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Alex
April 25, 2014 at 9:03 am #532388I clean my cache and purge my expired cache all the time.
This has made no change.
There must be a specific file or database value that can be altered, unless this is a common bug for JA Comment 2.5.3
I even un-installed all JA Comment Modules and Plugins and then re-installed – this made no difference.
It doesn’t seem to be causing any problems, it just just annoying that it displays a false value.alexsmirnov Friendalexsmirnov

Derek.</blockquote>Hi Derek,
JA Comment is updated to compatible with Joomla latest version (3.3.3), and also include the fix for your issue
Go to download page or update this extension thru JA Extension Manager and try it.
