We mentioned this issue in another thread but have not heard anything.

We migrated to a new server. Everything in our new server is working, except JA Comments. In the back-end, if I go to Components -> JA Comments we receive a black white screen.

Previously we were having an issue where comments could not be seen because there were so many comments in the database. Now we cannot access the comments at all!

    Hello ericribellarsi,

I set “Error Reporting” in Global Configuration to “Development” to debug your problem. When I went to JA Comment in back-end, I saw following errors:

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/kasamapr/public_html/plugins/system/azrul.system/azrul.system.php on line 52

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/kasamapr/public_html/plugins/system/joomsef/joomsef.php on line 29

They came from Azrul and JoomSEF plug-ins. So please contact these 3rd party providers to resolve these errors.

    Regards.

JoomSEF is now completely uninstalled, and the Azrul/JomSocial bug is now resolved. We still have the exact same problem with the white screen in the back-end. this has had no effect.

    Hello ericribellarsi,

Please PM me your correct FTP account. The one you provided me was incorrect. I’ll help you diagnose in the code.

    Regards.

Hi Stork, did you receive the PM? For some reason, there are no messages showing in my sent items.

    Hello ericribellarsi,

I’ve checked and saw that your site has showned the below error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 74 bytes) in /libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 712
Please contact your hosting provider to set “memory_limit” setting to higher.

    Regards.

Thanks Stork11, raising this memory limit restored the old problem. The first pages of comments work, but later on the comments do not show. Do you have any update on a bug fix for this problem?

    Hello ericribellarsi,

I went to each page of the comment list and didn’t face any problem. Please check my screenshot.

For the problem with “Unapproved” list, please follow the progress of this issue @ here http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAECCOMCOMMENTJVI-421

    Regards.
