March 27, 2010 at 10:34 pm #149885I see that the JA Comment part of the site, the blog, is a “trial membership”…when I click on the two provided links, I get nowhere….
Is this trial and if so, how much is the JA Comment????

April 3, 2010 at 5:44 am #338954The comment functionality on the live Ores demo looks very nice.
Wondering–isn’t there a comment system in the new joomla 1.6? has anyone tried the alpha2?
Also wondering if existing templates need to be modified for 1.6 release?

April 4, 2010 at 8:26 pm #339065Thank you for responding…
The link in your response leads me to a page that does not allow me entry, but following some of the links on that page has led me to understand that the continued use of the comments component will require an extensions membership at a discounted rate because I am a templates member…
I was quite impressed by the provocative look of the K2 features and the potential there, but in the meantime, in my attempts to implement this template on a working site, I have come across many issues (as have others) that I feel (considering this is overdue and still not stable) will not be resolved soon…
This version is not stable, yet there is no warning about this…This is a disservice and disrepectful to your members who are spending many hours attempting to implement an unstable product into service…
I am abandoning this beautiful template for now (my compliments to the design team), and will instead resort to another beautiful template that has recently been stabilized, JA Rasite…thank you so much…and please understand that I am a very satisfied customer and value my membership highly and have the greatest respect for your ever expanding services, but this template is not for me…yet!Arvind Chauhan ModeratorArvind Chauhan

April 5, 2010 at 7:09 am #339102Dear mneese,
I have copied the thread to the News & Announcement Forums, You can read about JA Comment Release info HERE.
JA Comment is released as JAEC and in the coming month JA ToolBar and JA Gform will also be introduced under JAEC. Since, we have members for JAEC and Developer members also have access to JAEC, it is required that we develop and introduce the extensions for them.
In contrast with JAEC, JATC has more extensions released to members along with the templates.I myself have not tried K2 yet and so i wont be able to comment on that, but i have flagged your comments to the developers. However, i would disagree that the template is not stable.
Thanks for your comments and frank opinion.
Regards
Arvind

April 5, 2010 at 3:10 pm #339190Thank you, sir.
I am going to join the Magento club and use that version for a shopping cart, it is stunning beautiful and I love the look. Then, maybe a couple of months down the road, I will integrate the Joomla Ores, with a blog and comment system for a complimentary site that is not a shopping system…the look is the same and I think we have a complete system with complimentary visual appeal for our user.Bravo! I love you guys!

I too Feel a little let down by this template, as it looks absolutley fab, but i have put it up on a test server and there is alot of issues, that I would probably not expect on a release.. Its a worthy template for not releasing until its finished properly.
I only base this on the output from 2 other well branded template sites i use and they usually make sure the template is unbrakeable before release…
There have been enough bug questions in the ores forum justfy what we are saying…I would love to use it… so if it can be re-looked at then brill..
on another note.. I love the design work you guys come up with…
