July 27, 2012 at 9:28 pm #179460Well I hate to admit it, but I’m JavaScript moron so when it comes to JS errors, count me out.
I have recently spotted that once I click page 2 of Ja Comments displayed under my K2 items, I get the Loading… button, page 1 of comments disappears, and nothing happens – it does not load Page 2 of comments.
Needless to say – I need help on this guys :-[

July 30, 2012 at 10:10 am #462583Аh, yes, had to do that with the first post. So in this article I have 2 pages of comments and when I hit 2 it hides page 1 of comments, but does not show second page.
Firebug shows:
<iframe id=”upload_target” style=”width: 0; height: 0; border: 0px solid #fff” src=”#” name=”upload_target”>
<div id=”jac-loader” style=”display: none;”>Зареждане…</div>
<div id=”jac-msg-succesfull” style=”display: none;”> </div>so I have display: none twice…
Thanks, I’ll be glad to have your help on this 🙂

August 1, 2012 at 4:18 am #462781Hello obliat,
Your problem was resolved. Reason was “pager” got all comment items (include parents & children), so it showed paging incorrectly. I fixed in “componentscom_jacommentmodelscomments.php” file and added this to our backlog to fix for next version of JA Comment.
Thank you for your reporting.
Regards.

August 1, 2012 at 7:09 am #462800Thanks Stork,
I see there’s no pages now – I mean it’s set to show 10, but shows all 14 (in the article I was referring to) so I guess the temp fix is to not show the pages at all until it gets fixed, right?
Thanks for you help 😉

Paging based on most parent items. If you collapse all children items, you’ll see that there are only 5 most parent items of the article. That’s why I said that it was an issue of component before 🙂Regards.

August 1, 2012 at 10:47 am #462845Got it – I have 15 comments, but it counts parent only, which are 5. So I switched it show 5, posted new comment to make them 6, and now hitting Page 2 I see the new comment on the second page. FIXED 🙂
Thanks and glad we have this resolved for the component for everyone.
