I have not found any documents on the search plug-in for JA Comments. I do not see any search function appearing. I saw one note from months ago that Search is not available for Joomla 1.7. I am using Edenite Template.

search for jacomment is infact available for 1.7 and adds the search functionality to the default search module

I was beginning to suspect that as when Iused the normal search on words in the comments things showed up.

all search plugins function this way as far as I know as they “extend” the search ability. Search “MODULES” can behave differently.
