Hi i just upgraded to Ja comment 2.5.2 and i’m unable to import any of my previous comment error message : Fatal error: Call to a member function name() on a non-object in /home/www/f12d362dc504a826ea2e320a52550149/web/administrator/components/com_jacomment/controllers/imexport.php on line 144

Another user just warned me today that he was unable to post any new comment, (i just tested and it was true) this is why i posted the case on ‘critical’ i need your urgent help on this case,

Look at my ticket details to have the login info to my site

Hope to read to soon (i have open an other case on last week but he goe’s to “private” and i nerver get a bit of a reply)

There is some strange text above ‘<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>’ tag. There must be nothing above this “xml” tag for XML structure correction. Please recheck your export file.

Hi stork11 whe are the 16 i’ve opened that case on 12 since that time i’ll get absolutely no support at all and my user is still not able to post any comment

Have you done any finding ??? the case as not been updated

wtf at joomlart ? i’m alone in the world to use that product or what ?

thanks drarvindc i have replied, this smell bad as the old release of the site is destroyed and the export file is the only thing left….

Ja comment is the best comment module for joomla that i know i don’t know why more people is not complaining about that 2.5.2 release….

Hi i get back to my issue as i have no update, I must warn you that if the case is not updated today i will have to roll back to previous release and let you reprogram your module as i turned on firebug and saw that half the code seem missing 😀

Your site used the old version of JA Comment. I’ve tried to install new version for you but I couldn’t. Please fix your site first to get upgrade the latest version of JA Comment.

Hi system case managment is down, so i cannot update within, i saw this morning a trace from a user from “oh chin minh” (vietnam) trying to install a compoment from temp, i guess its a guy from joomlart, its possible that such fonction is not working as i moved of host and my joomla system directory is still granted to 755 only and i want to know if that enougth to install module (as i have nothing to install i have not tested) if needed i will grant to upper rigth

please let met know, (glad to know that you take this issue in consideration)

its Ok, i’ll removed all the install of Ja comment and has just installed last released gathered from joomlart (you can now install) http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20163

As i saw Its a mix of 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 release and that dont change the issue at all,

(fell free to uninstall and install the release you want)
