January 9, 2014 at 9:56 pm #193636On a Teline IV responsive version site (ecars.bg) when I enable JA Comment (in Content JA Comment plugin) for English categories I get 404 error on English articles. It works fine with the other (my local Bulgarian) language.
I see it adds ?hitcount=0 to English articles’ URLs. Removing it to reload article with the real URL does not help – still 404. Currently disabled it for English version of the site until I manage to fix.
Anyone experienced such an issue and how could I fix it? Thanks.

January 10, 2014 at 9:32 am #518030It is quite strange. I tried to install the JA Comments component on my JA Teline IVT3 following your mentioned steps. However, I could not reproduce the same issue with article url error.
Please help to backup your site and PM me the site’s credentials. I will detect the root of issue on your site.

January 13, 2014 at 8:03 am #518218Thank you for sending me the admin info. I have checked with our extension developer on the JA Comment issue and be clarified that the issue only occurs when you install our JA Comment component on Joomla 3.2.x site. Meanwhile, this extension is not upgraded to Joomla 3.2. It takes us time to implement the upgrade, hope for your patience on this.

January 13, 2014 at 4:12 pm #518292No worries guys, glad you notified me – I disabled JA Comment for English articles – will wait for the update :).
On a side note, think I already posted before about that, but I don’t get notification emails on new post on my topics anymore – checked settings, but nothing :(. Can you suggest what could be wrong. Thanks.

January 15, 2014 at 4:21 am #518498I will ask our forum administrator to check the email notification feature. In addition, you should check the Spam box to make sure that our system mail address is not in your blacklist.

January 21, 2014 at 1:47 pm #519262I am sorry for my late response. Indeed, our forum administrator had already checked your username’s email notification settings, however has not figured out the root of issue yet. Have you got any email notifications on new forum reply?

January 21, 2014 at 8:48 pm #519297Nope, weird stuff. Not that it’s an issue to come check the forum out. Email notification saves time though and tells me someone reacted to me message(s).
Anyway hope it can be fuxed, but let’s get back to JA Comment. With the amount of work you guys have can you roughly estimate when J3.2 compatible version will be released?
One other question – my website is in cyrillic (not sure this matters) and once someone uses “+” (without asterisk) in the comments the component shows “Quote from….
And I just found something in my error_log:
PHP Warning: json_encode() [<a href=’function.json-encode’>function.json-encode</a>]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in /home/ecarsbg/public_html/components/com_jacomment/helpers/jahelper.php on line 694
Can probably use JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE to fix it, but it needs PHP 5.4 and my hosting is still at 5.3.27
And:
PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/ecarsbg/public_html/components/com_jacomment/controllers/comments.php on line 574
PHP Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/ecarsbg/public_html/components/com_jacomment/controllers/comments.php on line 610
Can you help with this issue?

January 22, 2014 at 8:18 am #519353We are still in process to upgrade our templates and extensions to Joomla 3.2, including JA Comment component. Due to a large number of product in the list, we could not give a specific date for now, however our team is working hard to release JA comment upgrade as soon as possible.
Regarding your question – my website is in cyrillic, as it associates with non-compatibility with J3.2, it is hard to detect the root of issue right now. Hope for your understanding and patience on this.
