    Hello,

As per the thread that I replied to from the author of the AiDaNews module (see here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/would-like-to-support-ja-comment-on-my-module/), I would like to display the number of JA comments on particular articles using the AiDaNews module. I understand that their module needs the the name of the sql table in which comments are stored, and the name of the column pointing to the article the comment is related to. I’ve tried using these settings:

    Table name: #__jacomment_items
    Article Column: contentid

    But it returns nothing.

Here’s my post on the AiDaNews support forum:

    http://www.aimini.it/en/forum/22-aidanews2-17/1266-commemts-no-view?limit=6&start=6

Can you advise if these tables specified above are still correct? Can it be done?

FYI – I disabled the “System – JA Comment” plugin (although this was an optional plugin?) as when I enable this it breaks another part of my website. But I have enabled it and it doesn’t seem to affect the above.

Here is a link to AiDaNews:

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi russellparr,

That’s correct table name but I think you should replace #__ by your database prefix name, also I think you might have made mistake with your query, can you post here the query you have made ?

So buying your membership with premium support for the extensions is well worth it then? Anyone?
