I have the JA Comments component installed in Teline IV w/Joomla 1.6. Following issues:
1) RPX plugin: Enabled, but I don’t see any options to login w/Facebook, etc. Do I need to sign up and purchase service from Janrain/RPX? If so, were would I configure the RPX Plugin, etc?
2) Comment box does not show up on all articles. All categories have been selected in the configuration.
3) Not receiving notification of of comments for moderation. I’ve selected “notify admin” and entered a valid email address.
4) Don’t understand the difference between Default/Light/Teline_IV in the “Choose Theme” option. Nothing seems to change when I try switching them.

March 1, 2011 at 9:29 pm #379147Just not to post it somewhere else, I rase another problem with JA Janrain + Teline IV + JA Comments + Joomla 1.6 + multilanguage plugin activated and used properly. When JA Janrain, my default site/content language disappear and English take over the whole site. When JA Janrain dezactivated, all comes back to normal.
I realy like to use JA Janrain with Ja Comments on Teline IV Joomla 1.6
I mention thet except @californiasup, when Ja Janrain enabled
Please, please advice!

Hello,1. Please enable plg_system_janrain plugin, go to “extensions > plugin manager > Ja janrain plugin” then enable it, you can config it in here
2. Please choose the config “Select Menus” after you Select categories.
3.@Not receiving notification of of comments for moderation. I’ve selected “notify admin” and entered a valid email address
Kindly send me you ftp and admin account to check it.
4) There are some style sheet changes please check it againBest Regards.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve done the above. I’m moving servers this weekend. I’ll send you the FTP access asap so you can take a look.
It seems like most of the 1.6 plugins have required code modification to get them working. I would like to see some extension updates soon instead of modifing everything to get it to work (kind of).:((

March 12, 2011 at 3:30 pm #381009yup, and that i is where the problem is. The RPX plugin doesn’t save the application name. can i set it in the code instead? or is there a bug in the rpxnow plugin that i have? i don’t have cache enabled, so even if i try to clear it, it really doesn’t show any cache.
have pmed you info of what i see the plugin.
update: i replied to the pm.
