it is probably written somewhere… but I figure it is easier to ask, so I can get on with other things… How the heck do I change the mega menu background color? See attached:

I will use the hex value not an image (something like #4A71FF or #514AFF)

So that we can try to best assist you, please provide the url of the site you’re working on,
as well as set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General settings

I will then be able to direct you to the exact CSS rule/property you need to modify.

Tom,

We dont have this site on a server yet, it is on a local machine only. However, all I need to do is to change the grey backgroud (the one I circled in blue).

I found some megamenu refs in css3.css, but I am not sure which to change… I changed a few, but it did not work.

Okay, I found it…

It is withing ..templatesja_community_pluscssmenumega.css

The part to be amended starts at:


.ja-megamenu .childcontent-inner {
background: #584e48 url(../../images/menu-bg01.gif) repeat-x left top;
border: 1px solid #938781
margin-top: -1px;
margin-left: -1px;

I can either use the hex number or the image… the solid from the hex number is not looking good, so we will work on using the image instead.
