Hi all,
I got some postings about how to have a logo changed according to the selected language. I am talking about a multilingual site obviously. I found these postings for the moment.
From http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/change-the-image-logo-according-to-the-language/ we have to deal with header.php and template.css
And according this posting http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/change-logo-according-to-when-the-users-select-language/ we need to modify template.css and index.php.
I am not so sure if these will be OK with JA Community Plus.
Could somebody help me.
Thank you.Regards,
Yohanes

January 26, 2011 at 4:13 am #373823Although that guide does not apply to JA Community Plus, because teline III v1 does not use jat3v2 framework. But its nearly the same, just different on files location. In ja community plus, the header.php is at:
template/ ja community plus / blocks
and template.css is at:
template/ ja community plus / cssJanuary 27, 2011 at 4:13 pm #374104Hi Hungnd,
Thanks a lot for the reply.
It is what I am waiting for.January 29, 2011 at 4:59 pm #374391Hello Hungd,
I am working now with 2 languages (English and Italian).
I tried to modify 2 files you indicated i.e. “template.css” and “header.php”.
I did not get a good result. Now logo image disappeared. There is only site name.
Some language icons in TopNav are not in the right places as before.
I put these 2 files as attachments. I think I did not put the right codes.Could you help me please?
May I have to deal with index.php under JA Community Plus template?
Thank you.Regards,
Yohanes

ok, I’ll give you solution, now just keep the header.php, you need to deal with template.css only, with each language, add a style in the end of template.css like this:
h1.logo-it-it a {
background: url("../images/logo-it.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
display: block;
height: 46px;
width: 266px;
}
this is a example for Italian, ofcouse you need to have logo-it.png in template images folder first.
lets try this and let me know. -
