    Hi, I find this template rather frustrating and difficult to work with. I’ve used Joomlart for many years but this feels like a step back. Hope to get some help

    1. Slider seems to act up on occasion when you load it. Images are "stacked" where you can see the 3 images layered on the right-hand corner. I can’t use this as long as this happens.

    2. I can’t figure out how to make a module have a "boxed" position, ie where content isn’t going all the way out to the edge. It looks completely stupid to have text that goes all the way out to left and right side of the template with no padding whatsoever. Most templates have (like rockettheme) have functions to choose boxed or full-width, and also to put in padding as needed. I can’t figure out how to do this in JA Company template.

    3. Module positions don’t seem to collapse. I have tons of waste in my page. Waste meaning empty space where there’s a module position that isn’t used. I’ve even taken them out completely, and still the page loads a bunch of useless space. See footer for example.

    In short, I really hope I’m missing something, because as it is now, this template is unworkable for me, and I really really don’t want to start over.

    Can see it here:

    Thanks for any help that anyone may be able to provide!

    Hi
    For the slider issue i checked the link you shared and the 3rd link is showing fine: http://prntscr.com/f3h4hd

    In the footer, if you want to show a banner module you can publish the module on footer-1 position.
    If you want to resize the module position you can do it with help of this tutorial.

    For the last screenshot kindly share the URL and device details in which you are getting this issue?
    I will check it for you.

    Hi Pankaj,

    To clarify

    Slider: Sometimes the slider loads with the 3 images visible on the right-side. Its not about the slider not working properly, or that the 3rd slider doesn’t show. ON FIRST LOAD, the images seems layered so you can see the edges of slide 2 and 3. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens randomly. Of course I can’t present a site that does that when they load the site.

    For screenshot 2, the footer, I DON’T want to have anything there. Historically, template providers have created templates/frameworks that works so that if you don’t publish anything in a module position, that position collapses. In this template, it doesn’t collapse, it shows an empty area instead. This is a huge weakness. How do I sort out the template so that if I don’t plan to use a module/position it won’t occupy empty space on the site?

    For Screenshot 3, this is NOT dependent on the module. I can put in regular text. This screenshot is from my desktop view. What I want is to have "boxed width" not "full width". I followed your link to the tutorial and I understand the description there, but this function does NOT exist in JA Company! Try it yourself, there’s no resize function! I don’t know if this is a mistake, or if the template was released before being tested, or some other reason. It just doesn’t exist. The module position in the screenshot is content-mast-top by the way.

    I have attached 2 more screenshots to explain my response.!

    No option to resize anything like the tutorial claims: no resize option

    Plain text module extends all the way to the edge: module all the way to the edge

    Hope that clarifies my issues…

    Thanks!

    Hi
    Space is from the padding value of the blocks not from the module.
    For the current issue:
    May i know the Joomla version you are using?
    As the template and framework is compatible with Joomla3.6.5
    Kindly do not update the Joomla to 3.7, we are in process to update the templates and extension to this version of Joomla.

    Hi, i’m using J3.6.5. I have not upgraded to 3.7

    So, to return to the topic, how do I prevent text from going all the way to the edge. It really shouldn’t be this complicated…

    Hi
    I got notification from my team member that you do not want to share the details of admin login for this issue.
    http://prntscr.com/f8buv3
    Actually, for the slider gap issue, Can u try below code in custom.css file and let me know if it works

    .swiper-slide-active img{width:100%}

    I need admin because using firebug i am not able to replicate the same issue.

    In the footer the module are position are hidden when you hide them from the layout options.
    But there is only space for the parent container. Becuase all the module position are under one container.
    If you will add a module in the position it will not be visible.

    You can remove it by adding below code in custom.css file

    Please add a file with name custom.css file in the /templates/Your JA Template/css/custom.css

    .t3-copyright {
        display: none;
    }

    Let me know if it helps.

    Hi,

    1. Slider still shows "layered" after I added the CSS above. So that didn’t help
    2. One position in the footer seemed to disappear with the CSS. So partial win there. I don’t fully understand your comment about how modules show and don’t show. Previous Joomlart templates didn’t have this issue. So I still feel this is a pretty big step backwards.
    3. I still can’t use some module positions because I still haven’t gotten a reply as to why the template width goes all the way to the edge of the screen, and there’s no setting to "box" the content (lie some modules seem to have). I can’t imagine a template where the module content MUST go all the way to the edge of the screen, any title, text etc that does that looks horrible.

    What about #3 above? Look at this URL with content in "content mast bottom" position

    http://vps6601.inmotionhosting.com/~pbec4/index.php?option=com_jabuilder&view=page&id=7&Itemid=217

    Why isn’t there a way to "box" the content? Its crazy that this option doesn’t exist in a template.

    Furthermore, why do I get all that white space above the module position?

    Hi I raised the report for the first slideshow issue to the development team for check and fix it.

    For the module position as i said its the style of padding and margin add below code in custom.css file to remove more padding

    #Mod105 .box-contact{    margin-bottom: 0px;
        padding-bottom: 0px;}

    For the box can you give me a screenshot how you want to show the module? i will help you to add custom style for the box.
    If you want to show the module in middle use
    module suffix: container

    PS: for new topics kindly open a separate thread for each new topic. It also helps other users, to find a same suggestion.

    Pankaj,

    Its very simple. Module "position 1" has a "boxed" layout. Ie the content doesn’t go all the way out to the screen edge.

    Why isn’t there a setting in the layout manager where you can set this?

    I really just want my money back, this template has been useless. Not at all up to Joomlart’s normal standard. I don’t want to have to mess with custom CSS for simple module layouts that other companies such as Rockettheme has set as default.

    This template has been one huge disappointment…

    Attached are two screenshots if that will help. I cannot figure out why a setting that allows for the module to have either boxed content or full-width is so difficult to do. I thought this was standard today, at least based on other template providers i have tried.

    There’s also some documentation on Joomlart for other templates where this seems to be available, so why not on this template?

    Hope these screenshots help clarify…

    1. wide
    2. boxed
