I like the pagination navigation on my desktop version, but this doesn’t work well on cell phones, where the navigation is far below several photos that fill more than a single screen. Moreover, if you set the module to show only a single image, the pagination navigation becomes pretty useless also.

What I’d like to do is show four images on desktops/tablets and only 1 image at a time on phones. On phones, rather than a pagination nav, I’d like to have previous and next arrows, so you can quickly go through the images, without having to open each one to see the next.

The JA Content Popup module “looks” like it should allow this (Show Nav Control), in addition to the pagination (Show Paging), but turning Show Nav Control to Yes doesn’t appear to DO anything?

So… is this possible? If so, please let me know how. I’m fairly adept at following instructions, if you’ve got a minute to help me out.

    MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks!

Okay, using two JA Content Popup modules — one configured to show 4 images, and one configured to show only 1 — I’ve added hidden-phone to one, and hidden-desktop and hidden-tablet to the other via the Module Class Suffix field. This gives me what I wanted, except for the navigation on the phone. On the phone, the pagination buttons obviously don’t work very well, because when showing only one image at a time, there are just too many pagination buttons. But at least it functions.

Now I just need to get the Show Nav Control working (previous and next arrows) on the phone module instead of pagination. Any help you can give is GREATLY appreciated.

@synapsis: I would say that it will be not good idea to use the prev/next navigation, instead of current ratio one, thus you will need to:

    – Override the javascripts of JA Content Popup module to display the effect of pre/next navigation
    – Override the navigation buttons with the css styles.

I would suggest you keep the current navigation style. It worked fine when I tried your Portfolio module on my phone (WP 8) without hidden-desktop, hidden-tablet classes.

If you still want to change the navigation style, please consider to hire a developer to help on this since it require heavy customization which is beyond scope of our support.
