Hi

Entire site has gone offline due to the JA COnent slider being enabled, which was fine up to recent time…

Troubleshooted many standard Joomla items, only when we unpublish JA content Slider does the website come back to life.

We have upgraded to the latest version of JA Content Slider, however the website is still offline and still produces an internal server error 500.

In order to keep the site up for the client we have had to disable the content slider.

Please advise any issues with JA Content Slider.

We are on this version for JA Content Slider: 2.7.2
We are on Joomla 3.3.6

There have been no updates or changes since the site went live earlier in the year.

Please advise as we would still like to use this within all of our sites.

Hi @romolo,

Does it work when you turn off URL Rewrite option in global configuration?

If yes, there maybe rewrite rules that prevent this module from working as this version 2.7.2 is compatible with latest version of Joomla already.

Kindly check again.

No we have tried turning URL rewriting off and this has no affect, it’s only when we turn JA Content Slider off then the site comes back to life.
