Can I display onlye the first 10 characters of each title in k2 item?

Pls open /templates/ja_kranos/css/mod_jacontentslider.css & find lines:

.ja_slidetitle { height: 70px; overflow: hidden; font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px; line-height: 1.4; }
Try to adjust the height value until you get perfect. Remember to clear JAT3 cache after saving changes.
