Good Morning…
No, i am keeping the username as is (still trying to add “By” or ‘ By ‘ to the front of cuser)

BUT… I have another slideshow that i am modifying (with different css settings) that i would like to include the K2 Categories name and title versus the Username. So similar to the image from my previous message but with the K2 Category name that the article is in. For example that screenshot above would have Orlando Magic(or NBA) vs Jason Falb.

I know in the SQL table is named JOS-K2_Categories and the column header is called “Name”, but i don’t know how to pull it to the front end using php. If it’s too much to ask or difficult to do that’s fine i can skip it.

Hi robnob,

The module already got out the k2 category name for you, you don’t need to add a query there, to replace the username by the category name you just need to replace this
$user->name
By this
$contn->cateName

I think it would help !
