How did it happen ? The front page is MESSED beyond redemption – I didn’t even enter the site last night and when I updated the site today with a new article, and after refreshing the page to view the article on the main page – I was dismayed.
I didn’t have any problems since I got JA Copper Business template on AamarnA, for the past what a month or so, and then suddenly today the whole JA News thingy is in disarray. How did it happen ? Even my administrators page is under wraps meaning it has one of those ‘secure’ – crypted plugin raved about on Joomla.org
Has anyone faced this issue before ?
How do I rectify this ? ALL HELP appreciated. Thank you

Hiya PhilThank you for taking your time to look into this – I’ve completely switched off JA-News … previously it was on, as can be seen by the miniature .. graphic files attached.
The link is at AamarnA.com I had to re-order the front page using just the body instead of JA-News which somehow out of the blues went on a rampage today. I also noticed that my current updated article on “Heaven & Earth” could not be placed on the front page as that would re-arrange everything into a frenzy sort off.
Appreciate help in any way you can.

June 28, 2009 at 1:57 pm #309288Ok i think this happend,
You created your new article and copy pasted content into joomla. If you copy paste content you also copy hidden tags wich are now conflicting with your website wich is creating the messed up view you are having now.
You have temporary solved the issue by disabling JA news because now the article is not on frontpage anymore.
What you should do is re-create that article and make sure you never copy content directly from some place else (like microsoft word). You should copy the content first to notepad (for example) wich will remove all the hidden formatting and then copy that into your article.
June 28, 2009 at 2:09 pm #309289Hi Bennitos
Thanks for your reply – I NEVER copy paste content from elsewhere – I’m a Published writer, and our content is especially created for AamarnA Lifestyle. Besides, I don’t use Microsoft word – I normally write in Open Office, and then have that saved in .txt and before I ‘copy’ the article that we’ve written, we open it in Extreme Pad {since we know that Word do screw things up … we never had the problem before nor did we have any problems prior today – We have been on Joomla before it became Joomla meaning when it was still Mambo} anyway .. yes we disabled JA News primarily because it put everything we’ve worked on into a disarray of sorts

June 28, 2009 at 2:11 pm #309291Hey man nice attitude…
This happends alot so excuse me for saying it, and still looks like a formatting conflict to me.
good luck with YOUR problem.
