February 16, 2009 at 6:09 pm #138204Does the JA Cooper theme not include the ability for users to enlarge text? I don’t see it in the demo. This is very important for my site since we get a large amount of senior citizens to our site. If it is not included is there a way to add it? I thought this was a built in feature to Joomla. I sure hope it can be added. Without that function, I can’t use this template and I really like it.
Thanks.

February 17, 2009 at 11:15 pm #292232I also think it would be a good idea to have the text size tool displayed. I wonder if the solution might be to create a new module position next to the Search box or across from the Breadcrumbs list, just above the logo.

February 17, 2009 at 11:19 pm #292235I did manage to add it to the Cooper template… see this thread http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/font-tools-need-a-little-help-please/ several files to modify but it can be done.

February 17, 2009 at 11:29 pm #292240Thanks. I just hope I can follow all of the files that were updated. I wish they would have just included this tool to begin with. If you feel like listing out the mods, that would be great. If not, I will just muddle through.

February 17, 2009 at 11:33 pm #292244I wonder how usefull such a mod is these days. Most browsers allow you to zoom in and most people with poor eyesight know this. Simply hold down ctrl and scroll your mouse wheel in and out and you will see what I mean.

There are an amazing amount of people who don’t know that. When I first put a text sizer on our website, it received rave reviews from our viewers, including my Mom. She loves it.

Good point. Glad you managed to sort it.
