If JA Cooper quickstart was installed and the site built, is it possible to download the installer template and select a different style? Will the frontpage look the same as it does in the demo?

Example: First JA Cooper release was made available. I downloaded quickstart and “wall” style selected. Site is up and running.

JA Cooper Business was released and I like the “red” style. I’m contemplating changing but I do not want to rebuild the site. I want to install the template using the installer on the backend and select “red.”

I want highslide and all of the module positions shown in the demo. I don’t want to lose anything just change the style.

    Can this be done?

I hope this was clear. Thanks for the help.

    Kindest regards,
    GeoVi:)

Instantinlaw, yes I know and I don’t know how to solve it. I posted about it in the forum and was given the answer. IE7 users need to upgrade to IE8. Sometimes it will load and sometimes it won’t. The other solution was above my tech know-how.

    Thanks for the info, though.

    Enjoy a nice weekend.

MfcPhil, I don’t think it’s you. I compressed the graphics and they looked horrible so I changed them back. I don’t know what else to do about it. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Hello, First having you upgrade to IE8 will not solve your problem. There are still people using IE6. Second did you try the unpublish the modules one at a time suggestion?
    If not, try that first.
Your problem is probably a script conflict, or poorly written module/script.
Check any plugins you have installed. Unpublish them one at a time.
Check your template configuration to see if you can enable or disable mootools.
Try a diffrent menu configuration, ie. switch to split menu, or css menu, etc.
Unless your site is a fresh install with no new add ond you will find the problem with a little troubleshooting.
    Good luck.

Thank you, Instantinlaw. You are correct, others are using IE6. The answer was in disabling and enabling the modules. Jomulus Tags Cloud was the culprit.

I appreciate you input and desire to help me out on this. I gave up too easily. My mind is on overload. I’ve been blessed with a Developer account but I am not developer/techie. I’m learning bit-by-bit, thanks to people like you and others at this forum.

My best regards to you. Thanks again.
