I have installed this template to try it out on a site with Virtuemart.
The template has installed OK and so has virtuemart,

my issue is that when I go to select a shipping address and hit next it goes to http://www.domainname/index.php which is blank – rather then the next step in the shopping process.

Is this because the template is not using frontpage but using ja-news – how do i get frontpage back?

index.php would just puch ya back to the front page, regardless of what is set as the default home page set in the main menu. Check with virtuemart folks?
