We’ve had an apparently random reoccurring issue with the JA Edenite Template on Joomla 2.5 whereas the site suddenly switches to the mobile template (which we have disabled). The issue is “cleared” up by clearing the T3 cache.
How can we prevent this from happening? It looks like a bug. We have the latest Joomla 2.5 version installed as well as the latest Edenite 2.5 template. The server runs on IIS. The site is http://www.northvillelibrary.org
Thanks.

December 2, 2013 at 6:01 pm #514134How often does this issue occur?
December 2, 2013 at 6:03 pm #514135Seems to be random. I’ve not found any way to “trigger” it or cause the issue.
I have the site cache turned OFF (was in JOIN/MINIFY), but that did not solve the issue. I turned off the template cache as well, and the issue still persists.

December 2, 2013 at 6:09 pm #514136I am going to forward your issue onto the JA Development Team to take a look at and consider a solution for you.
December 2, 2013 at 6:12 pm #514137Thanks.
Adding one thing: noticed we may not have the latest template update.
Updates are showing:
JA Edenite Template for J25 & J30 Update Template 2.5.4 N/A Site http://update.joomlart.com/service/tracking/j16/ja_edenite.xmlWhen attempting to install this, consistent error results:
Unknown Archive type
Update path does not existError updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
Unknown if that is related or not (on the off chance that the fix for this issue would exist in the update, which doesn’t seem to work, and if I’m incorrect, the URL shows it’s for 1.6, not 2.5…)

December 4, 2013 at 9:14 am #514286Hi,
You can take a BACKUP of your site and try to update this template and JAT3 framework. The above error updating will occur when you use Joomla update service to update JA products. It’s recommended to use our JA Extension Manager (JAEM) component to update. The latest version for this template can be confirmed here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20068
December 9, 2013 at 1:55 pm #514795Thanks, the template did manually update with the download.
We will have to see if the first issue is still happening, however… it appears completely random still…
