I’m using JA Purity II for desktop browsers and JA Elastica for mobile and switching between the two using Chameleon. The problem is that I need to clear the cache using the “JAT3 Clean Cache” button to get either template to look correct after using the other one. That is to say if I clean the cache then look at site on my iPhone using JA Elastica, when I return to my desktop JA Purrity is showing the JA Elastica module positions. If I clean the cache it fixes it, but then the mobile JA Elastica only shows the site with the JA Purity positions.

Is it even possible to down what I’m doing? Or do I have to go with another brand of template for the mobile view?

May I ask why you are using two separate templates?
They should both e fine in desktop and mobile and if using just one then no T3 needed to be clear.

Cause I spent a lot of time customizing JA Purity to give it a facebook type feel but I’m not a big fan of it’s mobile counterpart. JA Elastic on the the other hand had a great mobile view in which I can add a module to the header.

    Who is your host?
There are known issues with this and Godaddy

Not godaddy, when you say “this” do you mean the template switching or just issues with ja elastica in general?

The Chameleon you use is server based as far as I understand and Godaddy servers do not respond to this well. That is why I asked if you used GoDaddy.
Maybe your hosts server does not respond well to it either.
i think it would be good to at least file a ticket with them and inquire about this and ask if they know of any reasons chameleon would not respond well on their servers.
I’ll be anxious to hear what they say.
