    Hi, I’m upgrading from a Joomla 1.5 JA-Purity template to a Joomla 2.5 JA-Elastica template. I chose this new template because of the responsive design and jQuery Masonry functionality. After much frustration and reading the Wiki documentation, I see that the only positions for modules are 5 & 7. Is there no way at *all* to add any other modules on the homepage? I would think that it would be very common for people to require a spotlight or some other module.

    Also, is there a way to have a layout with 2 right module columns on the homepage, and a separate layout with just 1 right column on all the content pages (multiple layouts)?

    Lastly, when viewing the source of my frontpage, I don’t see a CSS class .frontpage anywhere to differentiate styling between frontpage and content pages.

    Any help/direction would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Iconicreations
    You can go to Template Manager: Edit Style => Layout tab => edit layout default
    Then add more position ….

    Thank you for your reply, but I have tried adding a new position with:

    <blocks name="middle">
    <block name="content-top">content-top</block>
    <block name="right1">position-7, position-5</block>
    <block name="right2" type="extra-col">extra-col</block>
    </blocks>

    this doesn’t work, however. is there something else i need to do to make this work? do i need to add something to the default.php file or add a new php file inside the blocks directory? please help!

    I have already read that Wiki, but nowhere does it say how to modify or add positions/blocks. Does anybody know?

    Hi iconicreations,

    You can look at http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/FAQs#Extra_layouts to get more guidance on how to add position / blocks in template on JA T3 framework

    Regards,
