JA Erica offers you 4 types of our traditional menu. The menus applied are JA Split Menu, JA Suckerfish Menu, Moo Menu and JA DropLine Menu.
You can view the menu in action hereTo choose your menu type, go to the 39nd line in the “ja_erica/ja_vars.php” and change $ja_menutype to what you need.
1 is Split Menu,
2 is Suckerfish Menu,
3 is Moo Menu,
4 is Dropline MenuI assumed it from your readme file that it comes with the Dropline Menu as well.</blockquote>
I am sorry, but this must be a typo error. If you open up ja_vars.php you can see which menu’s to choose from.
December 9, 2007 at 6:08 pm #234260You might want to change these two lines in the first post then:
“Q: Where can I change my footer?
A: If you want to change or remove something in the footer, just open the “ja_erica/footer.php” then modify it to suite your needs.”December 10, 2007 at 5:33 am #234279will you guys be releasing a quickstart for joomla 1.5??
December 10, 2007 at 6:24 am #234281Hello,
I am also having a similar problem with the JA Newslight. I only want this to appear on the front page; but I can’t find the module configurations through ths module editor. Where do I need to configure & set it to only display on the front page? I am using the version of Joomla that has Virtuemart installed, not sure if that makes a difference?
Also, I’ve noticed that the top menu & the left menu are the same. Is there any way to disable it so that the top menu doesn’t show but it DOES show on the left?
Thanks so much
December 10, 2007 at 8:54 am #234286This template contains the same bug as the two previous templates. The top menu doesn’t honor SEF settings at all.
The fix is the same that I described here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=32568&postcount=12
Kind regards.

When you install the template on RC3 the module positions is all ready in the template so no need to add them
December 14, 2007 at 2:25 pm #234550wow – same ja newslight problem here – and no support at all.
This was four and a half hours of my life that I’m not getting back – this template is going in the trash…. delete delete delete
December 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm #234630kashxo, a member here, fixed it for me. Here’s what he did, quoting his message to me:
Hi Rowby,
Because you don’t have a section link on menu for content Items, that will make Joomla! insert Itemid=1 to the URL and it think it’s still in homepage. That makes JA NewsLight still appears. However, I’ve create a menu item name: News for all content section in the othermenu and now your problems has fixed.
Feel free to contact me if you are in need of any assistance.
CheersFrom rowby to sidewalk. In my case the othermenu is not showing so even though there is a link to it, the visitors do not see that link in a visible menu.
I hope this helps you and others!
