Hello, The extension ( v2.6.0) won’t install while using the extension manager from Joomla 3.4.

Error – No file selected – Unable to find install package

The same issue when I use an older version (2.5.8) on the same (validated) site.

Please check your php.ini and make sure you have right value for max upload and similar values.

Hello Viet Vu,

Max upload: 250M. / max_execution_time 99

On the same server (with same setting) I have several J3.3.6 versions (with the Uber template therefore not updated to J3.4) and there are no issues with installing the JA Extension Manager.

My conclusion: there is something wrong with the combination J3.4 and the JAEM.

Hello Viet Vu,

Found something! Looks like a bug in Joomla. You can find the pull request here: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/6180

Just patched the install.php with the new code and everything is ok now. So no problem with JAEM but with J3.4.

You have an PM. Don’t forget to unzip and upload to the correct folder: /administrator/components/com_installer/models/
