- Compare between the versions, before upgrading.
- Files in conflict are marked, so that you can take backups of such files.
- Restore point created with each upgrade, So possible to roll back to any previous date / version.
- All files moved to and fro are stored as backup in the component Repository.
- Works with all extensions (Templates / modules / plugins / components).
- Read more about it on the WIKI.
Important :
- Components requiring upgrade of DB, needs to announce the same in the XML File. See Wiki for info.
- Versions and dates should be clearly marked in the XML, or the JA Extension Manager will not identify the new version.
- All warnings and care are clearly laid out in the Extension Help File and in the Wiki.
- If your server has files / folder write and Ownership problems, This component may not work and may end up breaking your site.
