    Hi,

    Please check your site now. The JA News FP module is showing 8 articles as you have set in the module params. The problem was, there were div tag in all these articles. I removed the div tags and the module started showing up correctly. But the page will not look same as the English version, till you publish all other modules you have on the English home page..

    Please remember that any div tags placed in articles tend to break the template showing weird results..

    Hope this resolves everything for you 🙂

    Hello,

    Great! Now I’ll clean all other divs. Thank you so much.

    If you do not mind helping second time I’ll have one more question:

    My menu does not work except default pages of languages. I think I did something wrong when assigning menus and menu modules. But I could not find the real reason. I’m trying to find a solution for this in last three days. I’d be rally glad if you can check it.

    Thanks in advance…

    Dear Himangi,

    As I can see from control panel, you assigned pages to default style and changed default laguage from all to english. This is why english menu seems working without problem. Indeed, it is not a real solution. Because as I can see through multi-langauge tutorials we should find a way to prevent template from using “all-menu” items if the site will be multilungual.

    I’ve opened a ticket (#COM-619-99035) about issue and here is the offer from techical department of joomlart:

    “You should disable menu of template, then use other menu modules to that position.
    Please go to templatesja_teline_ivblocks, open topmega.php file
    Change this code section:
    <div id=”ja-topnav” class=”clearfix”>
    <?php if (($topmenu)) $topmenu->genMenu (); ?>
    </div>

    to
    <div id=”ja-topnav” class=”clearfix”>
    <jdoc:include type=”modules” name=”your position” />
    </div>

    Then you can create some menu modules and assign them to this position following your language.”

    I’ve changed in the code but nothing changed. Even if there is not any active menu module, template still loading “All-menu” items.

    There are some other problems waiting for solutions but I cannot proceed before solving this matter because as long as this menu problem exists , it is not possible to be sure about the reasons of other problems.

    I’ve been trying to solve this problem almost a week. I do not remember how many tickets I’ve opened and closed for.
    I really like this template and I’ve registered myself for module club also. Joomlart has really perfect works. But unfortunately it is hard to say same if the matter is techinal support. We are buying this templates because we are not PHP experts which means we will need support if we have problem in installation.

    I’m aware of people working hard there to assist clients but delays and sometimes sketchy answers really disappointing.

    Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to find a solution for this problem.

    Thank you so much for your efforts.

    Kind regards
    Alper

    Dear Himangi,

    I’ve disabled all menu modules, and assigned all pages to some certain styles in template settings. I’ve returned back to default topmega.php code. And menu looks fine. I’m still not sure that it is the proper solution for multilanguage sites. I’d be glad if you can confirm that it is the proper way of multilanguage sites in JA teline IV.

    I’ve just one problem regarding menu, if you look at Russian menu you will see that script looks ragged. Do you have any idea?

    Site is not on publishing mode now. You can enter inside with same login and password for backhand.

    Kind regards

    When you say you applied certain styles in template setting to some pages, I assume you have assigned certain profile to the English menu items and another profile for Russian. According to me, this is the correct way to display certain layout / styling for some page while something else for some pages..

    Now that your menu issue is solved, can you tell me if you have any other issues left which you had mentioned earlier (regarding Ja News modules..)?

    Dear Himangi,

    I think menu problem has been fixed. Thank you.

    Now I have another problem. If you have a look at Russian page you will see that there is a problem with scripts. First I supposed that is related with menu text but actually the problem is style page does not appy “font size” on the site.

    I’m trying to increase the size of text in template. In style it seems working but it does not change the size in site.

    In english part it is working without problem.

    Can you check?

    Kind regards

    Hi I checked the JA News featured module text in English and in Russian and see the same font being applied.. In Russian, due the different lipi, the font seems to have a different size..

    Can you send a screenshot where you are seeing considerable difference in Russian and English font sizes?

    Dear Himangi,

    You are right the problem is not size but Russian scripts look ragged. In attachment you can see a screenshot.

    Hi,

    You can define a different font size for every profile, as per your requirement. I have increased the font size for home-ru and default-ru profiles, check if the font size is ok for Russian, now..

    Hi,

    I’ve tried this already. It is not changing anything. If you try some variations you will see that it does not work…
    I mean the size is ok but script still ragged.

    Hi,

    I am not sure what exactly you are checking but when I changed font size in Home-ru profile I saw the change on frontend. I have attached 2 images with font size 2 and font size 5.. I am not really sure what the problem is now.. Please check the images and let me know.

    Hello,

    Problem is not size as I mentioned before. If you look at Russian menu you will see that it is knurled. (ragged, shaggy etc.)

    I am sorry I misunderstood.

    Can you try using some of the available google fonts from the template setting for the Russian profiles?
