It may be worth downloading the 1.5 version and checking whether there is a com_k2 folder in templates/telineiv/html and copying over to the 1.7 version however this is just a guess..

Dave I really resent your approach and demands on this… by your own statement you acknowledge its a holiday and our staff was out. You’ve created at least 2 forum posts and 2 tickets regarding this… I think its perfectly reasonable to expect a delay during a MAJOR holiday. I’m going to figure out how we’re going to handle this and then do so. But quite frankly you get a lot more bee’s with honey then vinegar.

Hi Guys,
I would honesty like to draw a line under this and get on happily from now on. If it helps in hindsight it does look like I’ve gone a bit overboard here but I am honest in my statements that this is what I believed I was buying and stand by that. The reasons I want to stay now is that I have noticed that in fact the level of support is better here than most template clubs I’m a member of and a lot better than two very well known ones in particular. The level of customisation support also appears to quite good which lacks severely in many of the other companies . (While I have been ranting I also have been browsing the site). Also, if I had noticed the demo builder (which is a genius idea) prior to purchasing I would not be having this conversation. So if you want to read a “sorry” into this then feel free to do so..I am now going to concentrate on getting the NEX template to work for my needs instead and will post any issues relating to this in the NEX forum in a nice and polite manner.
Thank you for your time and Happy New Year.
Dave

January 4, 2012 at 9:22 am #432446Dave,
I urge you to change your admin password asap. The forum is open to any member and we would not want you to get hacked by some nasty git because your admin passwords are visible.

Unfortunately NEX has not been smoother with many of the K2 dependent modules suffering the same bug as reported in TelineIV with regards to the thumbnails and introtext issue. I would imagine this also affects other templates as mentioned in my post in the NEX forum. Unfortunately no moderators appear to want to respond to this bug as has sat unanswered for 3 days. I setup a JA demo to illustrate on your demo servers to avoid this being pushed as a rendering issue with my servers GD / Imagemagik version ….No ranting BTW….Just fact……Unfortunately I’ve been forced to use a different template club for this project as I do not have time to wait for a response to this.
Regards,
Dave
