THIS THREAD IS SOLVED!!! Anyone having the same problem look below:

    Problem:

I installed the Flowlist in Template Pariiti and routed the module to the folder of the JA Slide Show. The result, the Flowlist does not show any pictures.

Thinking about possible interference with the same folder and same files that JA Slide Show uses I created a new folder for JA Flowlist with the pictures to show.

But still the JA Flowlist does not show any content, also when any options inside the admin are set enabled or disabled, loop, autoplay on/off etc..

JA Slide Show still works all the time also when JA Flowlist is enabled showing no content.

JA Flowlist also does not show any pictures when JA Slide Show is disabled at all.

JA Flowlist shows no error messages etc. the content just does not show up while the module is active.

How can I get JA Flowlist to work???

    Answer:

Other than the JA Slide Show, the JA Flowlist works with a pre-specified folder for the images. That means in particular that one must not enter “images/stories/slideshow” like with the module JA Slide Show for example, but only “stories/slideshow” as the module is routed automatically to the “images” folder already… Thanks also to the other members where I have this answer from in the “JA Labra Forum”.

Thanks for the help upfront!!! Allover the best templates on the market, same like TemplatePlazza Club! Wonder what would happen when JoomlArt and TemplatePlazza team up and make a super Template topping all what exists. With the different styles and attitudes would a combination be far over the top!

This is still not working for me. So if what you are saying is correct, then if the directory is left empty, JA Flowlist should show the images inside of the “images” folder because the module is “routed automatically” to the images folder. This is not happening for me. It also does not show any images from a folder that I specify. Is there another setting or parameter that needs to be talked about to solve this? Forward slash? Backwards slash? Does the folder have to be in “stories”? No special characters in name of folder? Note from your Mum? If someone has this working, please take a screenshot of your admin page and post it. Thanks!

    Joomla! Version 1.7.0
