I’ve installed this module together with JA Seleni template and everything seamed fine in the beginning. Every article that I choose to be shown on the front page is correctly shown in Frontpage News module. But, same articles are shown also below the frontpage module, and outside any other module that is enabled.

If I mark all the articles not to show on the front page, articles are not shown in the frontpage module (logically) nor outside the module.

Does anyone know what’s causing this unusual manner? Thanks in advance.

Goto EXTENSIONS > MODULE MANAGER > JA_NEWS MODULE (note that this is different from the Ja-News-Frontpage module).

In the parameters of the JA_NEWS module, on the right, you’ll see “Show Front Page Article” – set this to NO.

This will keep the stories from appearing in both places on your frontpage. The JA News module is the one just below your FRONTPAGE module on your frontpage.
