    Using standard Halite template and we are getting IE6 warning in screen grab here: screengrab
    This is using IE7 to browse.

    Where can we adjust this warning or preferably just turn it off??
    As a rule I like users to be accommodated by templates not told to change their systems, so we would like to turn this feature off please.

    I have found this solution :

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showpost.php?p=158996&postcount=2

    and hope it will work with JA Halite.
    I will post if successful.

    Please include this on template setup notes in future?

    Hello guy!

    I thinks you only remove this block into the template/ja_halite/layouts/default.php

    <?php if ($this->isIE6()) : ?>
    <?php $this->loadBlock(‘ie6/ie6warning’) ?>
    <?php endif; ?>

    The warning is turned off on all IE Browsers

    Thanks for pointing me the right way,
    that last PHP snippet has to be removed from the following files inside directory : templates/ja_halite/layouts/

    1column.php
    3columns-classic.php
    3columns-content-left-right.php
    3columns-left-right-content.php
    default.php

    if you don’t want the warning to show anywhere.

    My issue is that it was just wrong that visiting with IE7 triggered an IE6 warning!
    All OK now
