    Hello,

I am using the Javascript Fade Slideshow and it won’t stop looping
when viewing with Firefox on Mac (haven’t checked other browsers yet).

The Looping IS set to “No”.

Other settings in module are as follows:

    Header type: Javascript Fade Slideshow
    Image type: jpg/gif
    Width: 100%
    Height: 200px
    Timer: 5
    Order: Sequential
    Fadetime: 1
    Looping: No
    xpos 0
    ypos 0

There are 5 images, which build sequentially on each other.

I’d like to to just stop after the 5th image.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Michele

UPDATE: checked site in IE and Netscape.
The JA Header is continuously looping in those browers too.

Here is the URL (still a work in progress):
    http://www.vizuelle.com/DEMO2/index.php

Can the Looping parameter of Yes or No, be changed to a number, loop 1x?

Can someone help with this please!

    Thanks!

    Hi Michele
Can you check if you have cookies blocked on those browsers, Ja may set a cookie for the preferences, usually when I set it to no looping it does work ok

Thanks Shannon! I appreciate your help.

I checked the cookies and they are enabled.

Is there anything else I can check for?

Shannon, this site is hosted on GoDaddy.com.
I have heard there are sometimes problems with them, although not sure what exactly.

Do you, or anyone here, know anything about issues with
GD that could cause the JA Header looping problem?

I also have heard that go daddy isn’t the best but more along the lines of domain name registrations and dns changing things.

I can only think to suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the item, painful as it is

Did as you suggested and uninstalled and reinstalled the mod.

    The first reinstall didn’t work.

Then I trashed the old Zip and downloaded a fresh Zip to install.

And It WORKED! ahhh, how the simplest things can make life so happy! 😀

    Thanks Shannon…you’ve got my vote!
