JA header module doesn’t load in IE and turn webpage not accessible when used as flash.
I know this module its new and not necessarily tested by everybody, any way… I’ve found strange no else mention it making me insecure about other’s possible reason to the problem in my website.
However, when used the module as JavaScript or when unpublished the website works, so I think there is no more space for dough or look for other reason.
There is out there someone with same problem and possible solution?
What about in house solution? Thanks’ guys

I’ve just begun to experience the same problems with JA_Antares. When loading the page in IE, I get the error: “Internet explorer cannot open the page http://www.mysite.com” with “Operation aborted”.This happens sporadically with half the page loading, a quarter loading etc.
If anyone has a solution, I will be very grateful!

Sure thing, it’s: http://www.wccsworldwide.com/homeThis is a temporary url – so it will not be active within a few days. It will ultimately reside at http://www.wccsworldwide.com (hence, http://www.wccsworldwide.com has been used in my member area domain list)

January 25, 2007 at 8:24 am #213642I’ve just checked again, and have found that I receive the same error. To view the problem, please look at this image: http://www.wccsworldwide.com/error.JPG
Also, just one quick piece of info that might prove useful to finding a solution: If I change the JA Header Module settings from “Flash Slideshow” to “Javascript Fade Slideshow“, it works! So it must be something to do with this?
Many thanks!
David

January 27, 2007 at 7:44 pm #213786Hi khanh,
I hope this is not too forward or presumptious… but I was wondering if you may have figured out a solution to this problem?
Many thanks,

February 15, 2007 at 4:06 pm #214663Hello,
If you set the JA header to use flash instead of Javascript and try to access your site with a browser without the flash plug-in, you get an error. I tried to use Javascript instead, I’ve no error, but nothing is displayed :http://www.saint-louis-marie-galante.fr
Thx for any help

I have just installed the new JA_Wistery and experience the same problems in Firefox – the header wont display in either the flash or javascript options – but it all works on another PC so the problem is probably local to the pc.March 8, 2007 at 1:40 pm #215360Same problem:
JA Villadi & IE6
Site unusable when using flash…
Message is:
“Internet Explorer cannot open the internetsite http://subdomain.mysite.nl/index.php.”
“Operation aborted”
Firefox has no problems…Han Leentvaar
Paying member of the template club >:(August 23, 2007 at 10:11 am #227905I got the same problem with ja header module in flash mode!
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Website http://www.balticfurniture.co.uk/.
Operation Aborted!please, can you give any advise, how to sort it out?
http://www.balticfurniture.co.ukI found some info on:
http://www.eoghanobrien.com/article/32/ie-operation-abortedSeptember 10, 2008 at 10:45 pm #270000Any resolution to this? I see no pictures (but not the “files not found” error) in JA Villadi in Firefox, and the Flash version crashes IE. No images in Javascript IE.
December 7, 2008 at 5:30 pm #281651A year and three months later and still no resolution?
Ja Header Module still causes an “operation aborted” error in Internet Exploder. Granted it isn’t the greatest of browsers but still it does still have 80% or so of the browsing market. This would seem top priority. Yes javascript works, but why include the flash component at all when it doesn’t work?
