I’m probably missing something simple, but I can’t get the module to display in random order.

With the setting set to “random”, with and without “looping” set, and in both flash and javascript mode, I get the same thing. It loops through the images. With each page refresh, it begins the loop with the first image. I would have expaected a random image with each refresh.

    Any thoughts?

You won’t get the “random” effect you’re looking for with FLASH as the flash native code is based upon a timeline….each time it refreshes, it goes back to the start of the timeline.

I suppose, with some ingenuity (and maybe some luck) you could create a different instance of the flash-rotator for each menu item and then you might achieve the look you seek.

I can’t speak to the Javascript example, but I believe it, too, simply starts from the beginning whenever the page is refreshed.
